Happy New Year!

As I expected, my schedule was too busy so I couldn’t find time to blog, almost at all… That means I’m totally into my new job.

Yes, I decided finally to take a full time one, rather than doing contracts. I had two offers, one from my previous employer, European Creations / Aldila Boutiques and a second one from one of the best fashion houses here in Vancouver. Although Aldila’s offer was a very generous one – Assistant Vice President, I had to decline it in favor of… Jacqueline Conoir Collections Studio. If you are living in Vancouver, and dealing with TV Studios, fashion magazines, fashion shows, etc, or you are a fashion connoisseur, you know who they are.
Therefore, I couldn’t resist it. And here I am, after almost 5 months – a happy JCStudio image consultant.

I hope I’ll have time to blog more about them, because they are a great team of fashion designers and promoters with a special approach to the market. Needles to say, RozeMerie, our leader and fashion brain, is an amazing woman. Actually, I should use “we” now, because I feel like home there.

Now we are preparing for an amazing new year, with many events (besides each Saturday fashion show we run) and surprises.
I’ll try to keep you in touch, at least to upload more photos ;)

Portobello West – Vancouver Fashion Market

Another fashion event that I have to go each moth: Portobello West market.
This time I took all my family and with Lucian’s help, I took many photos.

The whole business ideea I find it very interesting:

Interesting event I attended a few days ago: Spend on Trend.
I invited Anca there, one of my friends, and we spent a very good time. Some interesting designs see more pictures on flickr set.

Yes, this is my first blog post and I should explain how I started it.
Well, I have a husband that is in web marketing and social media, so I can say that I took advantage of him :)) , so he finally built me this blog.

Now being serious – I started it because I have to let the people know who I am and what I’m doing. Moreover, these days, you can be a perfect professional, if you are not on the web, you are nothing…

I’m usually very busy and I don’t have much time to write, but I’ll try to share with you my experience and my thoughts. I encourage people who would read my blog to comment and contact me if they wish to discuss more. I’m a very friendly person and I like to help if I can.

About fashion – now that is a long story, and I hope to cover it in my next posts.
